Our service learning project is about collecting pop tops for the Ronald McDonald House where people can stay if they have a family member at Primary Children's Hospital! We got into groups and did presentations to the 3rd graders and Kindergarten. It was a lot of fun and a big success! All of the kids are super competitive and said that they are going to win, but we as the fifth grade don't believe that! The prize is a pizza and soda pop party, so if you want the party, you should start collecting!

Ha, Ha, Ha, that is an awesome rap you guys. My favorite part of the rap was when Joshua did the cartwheel and Owen did the splits... sort of. I think that that was a great idea to do the rap, because I think the third graders understood better in rap form well that's all I have got to say so see you later.

I agree, Lydia! The rap was a very cool idea. The 3rd graders were so engaged and definitely listened to what they were saying.

All i got to say is that Owen could use a little work on the splits other then that they did a great job. Is it just me or is Ms. Demille's class way o competitive with things. All I am saying is HAVE YOU SEEN HER POP TOP CONTANIAR IT IS FILLED PAST THE NAME TAG! I thought she would have gotten less then us! I thought WE had the most pop tops in the school but no. She only to those pop tops in two ays TWO DAYS! And only two students and her brought those in. If we want to win we to to bring in more pop ops remember ask anybody ANYBODY! So we can win this. We are with graders WE CAN DO THIS! Thats all i have to say pace out people.

We've got to work harder, 5th grade! Need motivation? Stop by Ms. DeMille's room--they've already filled up their jug! Be sure you're getting the word out to all of your family and friends so we can collect as many poptops for our grade as possible!
