This month in November we had the Veterans 5K. We helped a lot before and during the race. A couple days before we packed the swag bags that each runner got. Kids in the 5th grade also drew designs for the T-shirts and they were hoping to win, but our class's very own Abby Wigger won! Everyone's designs were amazing. 5th graders advertised before and after school during carpool to get more runners to sign up for the race. To raise more money for Continue Mission, we gave everyone in the entire school pledge forms. We 5th graders made posters and presentations to teach other students in the school how to collect pledge money. On the day of the race, the 5th graders helped with passing out swag bags, help finding peoples chips and bibs, and a lot more. We give all our thanks and gratitude for the parents and 5th graders that helped with the veterans 5K. It was a huge success!
