About Ms. Bad
Parisa Badizadegan (AKA Ms. Bad) was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, though she often considers herself a “bad Utahn” because she does not ski or snowboard! She attended the University of Utah twice: first for her B.S. in Elementary Education and again for her M.Ed. in Informational Design and Educational Technology. Parisa enjoys reading (mostly Harry Potter), listening to music (mostly Taylor Swift), watching and playing sports (mostly football – Go Seahawks!), and exploring new foods with her family and friends (mostly deserts).
Ms. Bad has been a teacher for over three years, teaching both kindergarten and fifth grade at WPA. She loves being a teacher at WPA because of the tight-knit community, academically-driven atmosphere, and dedicated teachers, staff, and parents who are invested in every students’ success. Her favorite thing about being a teacher is the daily connections and memories she makes with students that go beyond simply learning facts and practicing skills. She loves to learn and loves helping her students discover a passion for learning. She is looking forward to another year supporting students as they reach their full potential as individuals and learners!
